I got a 2007 Silverado with the low fuel and check engine lights coming on at will, even after I filled up.....A friend, who's a fleet mechanic says this was common in 2006-08 models but has no idea of how to fix the problem....Any ideas?

These are merely suggestions, not a diagnosis.
I recommend consulting with a certified technician for an official diagnosis and repair option(s).
Please keep us posted.
