Cool cluster swap

have a no tach cluster in my 94 v6 auto 1500. want to put a cluster with tach in. is there a pin or something to set a v8 tach cluster for a v6. since v8 clusters are the only ones i'm running across?

so... wait. a non tach cluster will not have pins and connectors for a tach. so... if you put a cluster with a tach, it wouldnt work i dont think because you dont have wires for it. would it not be easier to get a gauge pod with tach?
