yep thats it all you need is the tube everything else you can sell or trash and use the stock box with a replacement air filter like k&n or spectre

 

I have the full k&n FIPK CIA and I can't tell any performance gain. Yes for sure you will hear the air noise which you would probably mistake for a power increase but In reality if there is my increase it is not enough to tell in the seat of the pants. If you insist on getting one, take others advice and do it as cheap as possible.

 

Anyone try the tirerack air intake?

 

Just got my 1500 a few days and loving this forum. Curious to see exactly which drop in filter you used. Was looking at a full CAI, but you guys make a good case for going this route.
