Default A complicated light problem for yall!!!

I have a 97 k2500 Silverado truck. during the day time hours my brake lights and turn lights are so dim that you can't see them till you're right up on the back of it. When I turn on the headlights at night the tail lights are normal in brightness, but when I hit the brakes the tail lights go off only one brake light comes on and the backup lights glow. Any idea what this could be? I'm thinking a bad ground somewhere but I can't find it. I've un hooked my trailer light pigtail and the pigtail for my camper but it did'nt fix it. PLEASE HELP ME!
Thanks for any help you can offer.

I'd suggest, unhook the back end electrical connitions, clean well with an electrical cleaner. Make sure these go back together properly, and in correct connections. Check for ground straps from the harness to the frame. Remove them from the frame, I'd recommend wire brush the matting surface, clean well, and reinstall with a good tight torque.

might check the condition of the battery ground cable as well...
I too agree its most likely a poor electrical connection and grounds are the most susceptible...
