a couple quick transmission questions
I have a 1984 chevy silverado pick up truck. It has a 454 engine.
It is a Turbo 400 Transmission.
if there is no power going to the kick down solenoid, could that keep the truck from shifting into 3rd gear?
and also, in the valve body of the transmission, what causes the manual valve go back into park position, when the gear selector is moved into park?
any/all help is appreciated. Thank you
