I have a 01 Silverado, and enjoy it immensely; except for the overhead console "empty" face plate that would normally house the rear air controls (like on my 99 Suburban). I would like to hear about some creative ideas that other owners have used this "blank" area for.

A CB radio, a storage alcove, a GPS unit, a radar detector,additional lights, a PDA storage/holder, a CD organizer, a garage remote caddy,additional lighting,an audio system equalizer.

Did I miss anything?

 

I wish mine was about about 2 to 3 inches wider so I could put my CB in there and hide all the wires and make it a real clean install
