I have a 2010 silverado that when someone is sitting in the passenger seat the dash gauges drop to 0 but stays illuminated w the tire pressure sensor, park assistant goes off, the radio shuts off and the AC stays on but can not change settings. Any kinda direction would be appreciated

 

Is it just when they sit in the seat or when they buckle the belt? If you’re not sure, try buckling the belt without someone sitting in the seat and see if the same thing happens.

Another check would be damaged wiring/wiring harnesses in these locations:

-under passenger seat
-behind/to the right of glove box
-in driver foot well (remove trim panel)
