my 1993 Chev 4wd has a problem.
the dash lights work but the heater and door switch,s wont illuminate.
Everything else is working fine and I cant seem to find the problem.


Any help appreciated

 

what have you tried so far

 

Not much really, after looking at the schematic I cant find out where the door switch,s tie in for power and also the switch,s on the heater control.
Fuse block diagram shows fuse 9 as handling power for switch illumination, its not blown, replaced anyway, still nothing.

 

sometimes its just best to ignore the fuse location and check them all anyway, and even if they look good they may not be getting power, go through them all and see what happens, you may be surprised

 

I already did that and no change,its getting the best of me but damn it, I will eventually
find what the trouble is.
