For some reason on my 05 silverado the radio and dash lights won't turn off when key is removed. Normally if truck was running and I shut it off radio will stay on until I open door, then it shuts off, but now all the lights remain on.
Any help would be great, it's just started today all the sudden

 

The door switch is most likely bad.

 

Is that located behind door panel on door handle itself? What am I looking for exactly?

 

It is made into the latch assembly unless you see a door pin. Some of the older ones had a pin coming out of the dash that the door pushes in when it closes
