Just bought my '76 Chevy step side and every time i make a RIGHT turn it dies on me!!! Left turns are fine, reverse is fine......

Possible ground issue? Does it happen every time? Any issue with the lights being dim etc..?

Do you have a full tank of gas. I have heard of this problem with little or no fuel in the tank because in a turn the fuel runs to one side and causes air pockets in the fuel line.

yea, sounds weird. m
maybe fuel pick up in the tank, I d say is most likely.

I d think a ground issue would be resolved when you straightened out. but a sloshing fuel thing? no fuel delivery during the turn.

I have a 2006 SAAB that had a loose ground that would come away from the frame anytime I turned or hit the motor hard...a weird thing but its possible.

I would also vote for a fuel pump/inlet issue or maybe something at the carb floats.
