Ok guys...I think I'm about ready to get rid of my 2007 Silverado LTZ. I have had nothing but trouble out of the sunroof ever since I bought the truck. A complete sunroof has been installed by the dealer, the new drain tubes, everything that has to do with the sunroof has been replaced and the thing still gushes water into the headliner everytime it rains. I don't know what else to do to correct this issue. I think I'm going to get a new truck or at least get the sunroof enclosed some how on the roof by a body man and have it painted just like it would look if it was factory without the sunroof. If anybody is interested in purchasing a truck let me know..the truck is awesome but the sunroof is the only issue with the truck.

 

what about puting cylicone around the exterior edge of the window?
you can't open it but hey, problem solved

 

Keep taking it in to the dealer till they get it right.

 

i put silicone all the way around the edge of the sunroof and it still pours water around the overhead map lights..i dont know what gives..kind of strange it still leaks after its completely siliconed shut. who knows.
