Not sure about the online status, as long as the message posts then why bother, it only indicates wheather you are logged in or not. No problems, if you want to add something, just hit the edit button in the upper right corner of your post, that is if someone hasn't responeded before you edit, but if someone has responed then just add a new post (message)to your thread. Everybody gets their chance at being new.

Default Disable headlights

Not sure how disable sensor, but if you want to turn off headlights, just push your dome override button 4 times. This turns off the headlights or running lights.

I looked into do the same to my '99 silverado. The daylight sensor acts as a variable resistor when exposed to changes in sunlight intensity. The trucks computer detects this change and turns on the headlights accordingly. I was able to disable this feature in my truck. It takes a little work but I pulled the trim on the dash, removed the radio and was able to reach the daylight sensor. I disconnected the sensor and put a 100 ohm resistor in the plug. This makes the truck think it's daylight 24/7 and the headlights will only turn on when the switch is turned. I haven't experienced any side effects yet, keeping my fingers crossed.
