I am looking to install an amber strobe light kit in my 2012 Silverado 2500HD. spoke with a couple of dealerships and they were a bit useless as usual, however they did say that because of having to drill holes throughout the truck for the wiring, that it could void my warranty on the truck should i choose to install it myself. Does anyone know where I can find a list of GM Authorized installers for aftermarket lighting for Illinois?

 

There are plenty of rubber grommets nooks and crannies to run wires without drilling man. Dealerships are useless unfortunately. They want $ or if they dont wanna mess with it they wont. I get my trucks inspected at dealerships becuase its free and always have to break out the inspection manual and belittle some poor SOB thats forced to be full of s*** Its very simple but if you dont wanna do it take it to a stereo shop they wont drill a thing...
