Recently bought a '95 K1500. Got it cheap knowing the synchro was bad and the seller showed me a trick to get it into 4 without scraping. What I can not figure out is how to downshift into 4 without scraping the gears which I am afraind is going to cause a bunch of problems in the future. Please help! Also I am new to driving stick so I've all ready been hard on this transmission. What can I do to preserve it. Clutch is already new so I did not have to worry about that. Thanks again!
