it works occasionally.. sometimes it works just fine, other times it dont, most of the time it doesnt work... anyone know what the problem maybe? i took my radio out and all my connections seem fine and i took out the speaker and it was connected.

 

what year? old body style? If so, the problem is more than likely a bad speaker, but don't rule out wiring from the radio to the speaker. Also, does the truck have an amp? could be wiring to the amp or the amp itself

I would say the speaker is bad, mine went out early on.
I called Crutchfield and talked to a guy that set me up with stock replacements that sound better.
