dtc code p0496
Hello CF , I have a 2005 silverado 1500 z71 5.3 that has the eng lite on, with the dtc code p0496 , which indicates that the canister purge valve is bad? Does anybody have a picture on the location of this valve and how to change it?
I went to the stealer this morning and they wanted $145.00 just for diagnostics, then comes the punch line. I asked about the emmissions law but the salesman told me all that was in warranty was the cat. Can any one help? Thanks Chico
