Dual Fuel Tank problems
Hi everyone. Great forum- first post here.
I have two (1996 and a 1997) one ton dumps both have the dual gas tanks. I am not getting fuel from the rear tank on either one. Is there a relay I can't find? Or is there a type of float switch in the front tank?
I guess I'm not 100% sure how the fuel transfers from front to back.
They are both Cheyenne models so forgive me if I'm in the wrong forum.
The gas gauge naturally never registers more than half and is always fluttering. We always keep the front tanks topped so I guess its not a major problem but it bugs the heck out of me when I drive them. Where and how do I start narrowing down the problem? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
