Duramax Pulling Power
Anyone have any experience with the newSilverado 3500 duramax duallies used to pull 2 or 3 car haulers or cargo trailers commercially? Are they dependable and capable? I am about to start such a business and would like to know some info on them.

I bought a 2500 hd to hotshot cattle trailers. I usually pull 2 empties at a time. About 10-12000 lbs. but extra long. Runing 65 mph, no wind only about 6-9 mpg on midwest states.Empty 65-70 mph 16 to 18 mph. 13,000 miles so far and very disappointed. Hope it improves soon.

RE: Duramax Pulling Power
our dealer principle pulls any one of his 7....yes 7.....trailers all the time, one is his car transport hold 2 cars, usually his Vette and porsche, the others his toys, sleds, quads, blah blah, couple flat decks, I really dont know what he needs tehm all for, but ya it pulls them fine...he uses a SRW, so dually should just do ya better, the new 6speed is off the hook, you will like the tap **** for downhills, the grosss combinded on the duallies is 23,500 I beleive, you should be fine...and the independent front oh man what a nice ride
