i am looking to get an edge tuner for a new truck that i will be buying the the next couple of weeks. my question is what the difference in fuel mileage (on average) with the economy setting? also, is there a noticable difference in power? thanks

 

Look into a Black Bear custom tune. I hear that it has much more effect then any box tuner. I also hear it is far less expensive.

 

Yep programmers are a waste of $$$. Blackbear is the way to go.

if you are dead set on a programmer, the diablo is about the best there is.

Oh yeah, BLACK BEAR, dude! A new chip is the way to go.

 

Not to nit pick but it isnt a chip. it is a tuned PCM or his original PCM tuned.

 

hey I was wondering if you had a black bear custom tune for your vehicle? if so what benefits did you notice? I am in the midst of emailing Justin about one for my vehicle now. (2006 5.3 with a cai K&N on the way and thinking borla cat back.)
