what are some pros and cons of efans, once i get my tax money back im thinking of putting one in (or a bbp tune). My truck is an 02 2500hd 6.0l. and if anyone has a kit they would sugggest it would be greatly appreciated.

First measure what size radiator you have. Should be the 34" one since you have a HD truck. Second, snag some from a 05-06 silverado 1500. They bolt right up to it. Third, get a harness from bbp and a tune and put it all together and you're good to go.

with thte tune, im stuck between the efi or the traditional one. i dont tow a whole lot so which one would be better? im looking for hp and to add any mpg i can (although i no i wont get much either way)

Just get the traditional tune, it'll help a lot. If you want get the autocal, it'll be more in depth and precise. And you can buy a new pulley from them to help with the extra pull from the alternator the fans pull.

how will efans and a tune affect my battery and atl? about 5 mins ago my battery just died on me and im not waiting for a jump....

most tuning companies use efilive or hptuners I believe. Mine was tuned with hptuners, just as good a program IMO. With the new alt pulley from blackbear, I haven't noticed any drops in amp when they turn on.

okay so what exactly do i need. obv the efan off a 1500 (as long as i find one that fits my truck), and the pulley from black bear?
