The brake adaptor plugs in just fine (under the dash just above the left foot). I'll hook up the brake controller tomorrow night.

I just hope the labeling differences don't matter : The DRK BLUE on the brake controller says 'Trailer Brakes' but on the new harness from the dealership it reads 'Trailer brake controller switched output device'.

Guess I'll find out when I test the trailer up and down the alley!

Ahh.. Sorry about that!! I missed the wiring part... It's hard to say without seeing it but from what you say I'd say you're on the right track. Can you post a pic of both bare ends of each pigtail.. I'm wondering about the colors.. Unless you're pretty sure of what you got going then you're also more than welcome to tell me to buzz off.. haha
