your best bet for electric fans is the 05+ setup. you'll need the bigger 34" radiator, the dual fans, a harness from blackbear or nelson and then a tune to be able to turn the fans on

@country_09: How much would it cost to do this? And how difficult would it be to do this?

Shop around junkyards for the fans and radiator...cheaper way is to find some ls1 fans from a Camaro I believe..they bolt right up to the 28" radiator you have(may want to measure) and then the tune from Blackbear is like 250 I think. So maybe 500 to do it all if you go with the 05+ setup

Does this mean that I need to get a programmer in order to install the tune from blackbear? Will the Blackbear tune interfere or write-over my current tune? Can I program the electric fan with a DiabloSport Predator tuner? Lots of questions. Thanks for your help and advise so far!

If I remember correctly you can get a custom tune via diablosport..is that what you have? If so they can write you a tune and tell the ECM when to turn the fans on. If they can't, sell the diablo and get a Blackbear tune. They're much better anyways. It costs around 400 to get the 34" radiator, fans, and harness then the tune for 250

Yes I have a DiabloSport Predator tuner. I'm leaning towards finding a camaro fan and a harness, and tuning it to turn on myself.

Thatd'd be the easiest way, make sure they're dual fans to pull enough cfm's. The harness to a switch inside your truck is easy enough
