I have an 05' Silverado w/ a 5.3 litre. Both the cigarette lighter and accessory plug outlet have mysteriously quit working. The odd part is that I have checked both outlets with a digital meter and am getting 12v. I have plugged in several different accesories into both outlets and nothing works. When I plug in my cell phone charger the charge light comes on but the cel phone says "not charging". I recently plugged in a portable radio charger into the accessory outlet and it ruined the charger. Has anybody else had this problem? I have two other friends that have 02' and 06' Silverado's and theirs do the same thing.
