what is interchangable?
Do I need to get a new transmission?
I got a hi-flow torque converter in mine when I had it rebuilt
so I think it should be ok. But I am just a humble HVAC technician so what the hell do I know.
I am not gonna be pushing the truck like dragging or burnouts
so I don't believe I need to upgrade driveshaft, U joints etc etc
I am gonna be tossing the stock exhaust manifold and going with headers

Has anybody done the swap?
any problems I might run into?
I am looking for a used low mileage one.
are there only certain years that will fit? I dont think so but just checkin
