Erratic injector pulse...
HELLO EVERYONE, MY NAME IS MICHAEL AND I'AM NEW TO THE FORUM....
AND FROM TEXAS,.....WHERE EVERYTHING IS BIG IN TEXAS....JUST LIKE THIS
ELECTRICAL PROBLEM I HAVE .,LOOKING FOR SOME PROFESSIONAL HELP ON THIS ONE IT HAS ME STUMPED.....I HAVE A 1997 CHEVY SILVERADO EXT CAB.
5.7 LITER NIGHTMARE,,......
i have a 1997 chevy silverado brand new engine and transmission ....
everything factory stock no aftermarket equipment,no theft deturrent system.
HERE'S THE PLAGUE....................
NO INJECTOR PULSE ON CYLINDER 3 & 4 ............EXCEPT...........WHEN VEHICLE REACHES OPERATING TEMPERATURE AT ABOUT 180 DEGREES...
I CAN PUT A NOID LIGHT ON CIRCUIT AT PCM AND WATCH AS THE CIRCUIT COMES TO LIFE.......INTERMITTENT FLASHES AND EVENTUALLY A STEADY PULSE............THIS IS THE MOTHER FREAKIN NIGHTMARE ...........DOES IT EVERY SINGLE TIME WHEN ENGINE IS COLD.....WHEN AT OPERATING TEMPERATURE DOESN'T MISS A BEAT RUNS AWESOME.........SO HERE'S
WHATS BEEN DONE ............FUEL PRESS 55 P.S.I. BRAND SPANKIN NEW MFI SPIDER INJECTOR UPGRADE OVER FACTORY ORIGIONAL...ALL PCM GROUND CIRCUIT TERMINALS REPLACED...ALL PCM POWER INPUTS SHOW 12 VOLTS...REPLACED ALL INJECTOR GROUND CIRCUITS WITH NEW TERMINALS
AT INJECTOR BODY CONNECTOR, ALSO NEW WIRING BACK TO PCM AND ALL PCM TERMINALS REPLACED ALSO DID THE SAME FOR ALL POWER CIRCUITS NEW TERMINALS WIRING AND PCM TERMINALS NEW, STILL SAME ISSUE..........I AM AT A LOSS NEED HELP,.... ANYONE?.............
