Does anybody know what the error code P2272 refers to. The "check engine" light turned on and that is the code i have received. I have a 2008 Silverado 2500HD 6.0L gas engine crew cab LT. A million thanks in advance.

 

I just googled "error code P2272" and it mentioned the O2 sensor as a possibility.

 

Yes the p2272 is a heated 02 sensor stuck lean code. Heated 02 sensors were developed for the newest federal emissions laws. what happens is the heater coil burns out and pops a DTC.
