Default Factory options on your Silverado: how do I find them??

Not sure I'm asking this right... Usually, when a vehicle is new, the window sticker lists all options/features it left the factory with. When buying a used vehicle, this is generally missing. Is there a source for finding out what options the rig was built with originally???

With Dodge trucks, one can email Dodge with the VIN number and request a, "build sheet." Dodge will email back with EVERY option that vehicle was built with. Nice thing.

But how about Chev/Silverado's???

I don't know what year yours is, but I had an 83 GMC Serria Classic, it had a list of all the options on the driver's side fender under the hood. If it is new or even in the 80's go to the part department in a dealership near you with the vin. They should be able to tell you what it does and dosen't have.
