Angry Feeling/Hearing pop in gas pedal

I just recently purchased a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT extended cab. I love the truck and it drives really well, but recently I have started to feel a pop in my gas pedal. It almost feels like someone is thumping the bottom of my foot, and I can hear a slight noise as well. It usually only does this after it sits for several minutes and then is cranked up and driven. After it does it the first time, it will not do it anymore while im driving. After I turn it off, run in the house or store and come back out, it will do it once more. It usually occurs around 10 seconds or so after I have put it in reverse or drive. It minor, but more annoying than anything. I called the dealership and they can't get me in for another 5 days, and it is going to drive me nuts wondering about it until then. Any tips or advice?
