I picked up a load of dirt and left my son in the truck while the back hoe loaded it in my bed. My son turned on the fan in the passenger compartment to 5 and turned off the recirc. button. Needless to say it sucked in a ton of dirt and dust. Now if I turn on my fan black dirt comes out of the vents. It's been a week and it's not slowing down. Is there a way to clean the whole system without taking apart the dash?

 

probably not, unless you don't mind cleaning up a bit of a mess. if you have a shop vac that can be used to blow air out, or air compressor, you might be able to block off the defrost with tape or something, block off dash vents, and try to blow everything out the floor vents, then vacuum it up. not sure if that would work, but maybe worth a try?

Yuck! That doesn't sound like much fun......but the post above sounds like the right thing to do.
