Default Finally approved for an 08 Silverado

Took a few months of negotiations with the Finance Mgr (Wife), but I'm the proud owner of a new Silverado.

2008 Chevy Silverado, Ext Cab, Short Bed, LT1, 5.3L V8 Flex Fuel, Z71, LT1 Convenience Pkg, 18" Wheel upgrade.

I bought it during a snow storm, and got to test the AutoTrac out for a few miles. Chevy has a $1,000 loyalty discount, that I didn't think I'd qualify for, but the salesman said our '03 Pontiac actually qualifies. The 100 mile trip home was full of wonder with all the buttons and gadgets to check out.

Here's a few photos:

Good looking truck. I'm sure you'll have many miles of fun. I really like mine.

I wish I would have picked that color. My silver is nice, but that blue looks better.

You will love this truck. It takes a bit to get used to it not sliding around in the snow, but I like it more and more as I use it.

As a former Dodge guy, this is one of my most favorite trucks.

25000 miles on an 08 to date.

Holy smokes! 25,000 already? You must live in your truck. Good thing they're comfortable.

The granite blue confuses me as I'm partially color blind and I have the darnedest time determining the color gray/green/blue, it changes every time I look at it. Kinda wish it was a solid color, but maybe I'll get used to it.

One of the deciding factors for me on the Chevy, was the AWD autotrac. And yet, I can put it in 2High if I want to slip the rear-end around and have a little fun. Part-time or Full-time transfer case, best of both worlds.

I grew up east of you over in CR. I miss the country, the people, and the tenderloin sandwiches that were as big as your plate. :-0

Got my 08 in April. Company truck.

You can't beat Iowa. Except for the salt. Where else can it be -23 one day, and 50 4 days later!!
