Hey guys. I just got this truck. It's a 5.3 silverado with 100,000 on it. I let my buddy drive it this morning. It ran for like 2 minutes tops and he floored it from 0-55. I was so pissed I told him to pull over. I wanted to hit him. Bit my question is did he hurt it at all. I drove it the rest of the day and everything seems fine. Thanks guys!

It'll be fine. Not like it just rolled off the assembly line and was floored. It does have 100k on it

 

You'll be alright. These engines are tough, and doing it once isn't going to hurt it

Rincon, you drive a chevy silverado, at 100,000 miles you are just starting to break that motor in. Don't be afraid to lay the hammer down on your truck, it will take it believe me.
