Default Found myself a diesel!

Well, my grandfather is going to look at a 1996 Chevy Silverado Z-71 tomorrow. The cool part... it's got the 6.5liter Turbo diesel!!! 130,000 miles and it's a Florida truck so no rust at all. I'll know by tomorrow afternoon whether or not I've got a new truck, but you guys are sure to know soon

Here's a pic of it:

I'm not a big fan of the color, but for $4100 I'm not going to complain

Congratulations!

That kind of mileage is supposed to be break-in wear for a diesel engine, too.

FAIL. The guy was a F-ing theif. That picture is 8 years old. None of the trim is still on the truck, half of the interior has been ripped to shreds. It started, but barely and it ran like $hit afterwards. Didn't drive straight, brakes were shot, and the tires weren't bald... they were frickin racing slicks.

I let the guy have it for being such a goddamn crook. He told me the truck was in immaculate condition and in the ad it says: "truck is clean inside and out". It was a mess, Saw it from 100 ft away and almost turned around and left.

This is why you should never buy something sight unseen.

No, I didn't buy it. That's what it looked like and I turned around and ran away.
