Howdy my friend has a 2000 Silverado he has been throwing P0430 code. He tuned it up and changed bank 2 O2 sensors and added fuel additive. 18 miles later he threw the same code. He reset the code and now 60 miles later it has not come back....YET
Do you think he has beat the code in to submission or is it a matter of time before it comes back?
If it does come back, what would you all recomend to do next?

this is the only thing i found on google that was helpful. my cat went bad on my 04 1500 last winter. was barely out of warranty. well had to buy a new one from dealer. but i know there are aftermarket cats for your buddies truck. call your local muffler shops and see what they have or can order.

your welcome. i was calling about aftermarket cats when mine went bad but i was told only 99-02 had aftermarket cats available. hope this helps. good luck
