Default front drive shaft problems

my truck has an 8" suspension lift and the front drive shaft is too steep to go into the transfer case so i have to lower the transfer case.... my friend told me to go and get square tube and longer bolts i got the both but i'm just completely clueless on what i'm doing. does anybody have any idea on how to go about doing this?
