hey guys, im new to the forum, i dont know much about trucks,
but i own a 06' chevy 1500. ive been wanting to drop it for a while now, but honestly, i dont know the first thing when it comes to trucks.

can someone help me out and tell me the types of drops there is? or what do i need to know or how to do it? that would be really appreciated.

i just want to drop it about 5 inches, i can post pics of the truck if needed

 

Beltech and djm are really the only ones I know of....both good drops. I'd go 4/6 drop

 

buy drop springs for the front and drop shackles for the rear. the rear end isnt too bad but the front end may be another story.
