Fuel indication issue
I hear ya'll. It is just annoying beyond belief that it costs so much and seems to be a very wide spread problem with this year model truck. I feared right off the bat that it was something internal to the tank and just knew that it would be very expensive to fix as well.
Jblahuta......if having it fixed is not in your budget right now try not to let the fuel get below 1/4 tank. I'm uncomfortable driving my truck with a faulty gauge sensor so when she constantly registers 1/4 tank I know it's time top off.
I've been through 1 full tank with a bottle of Techtron and I'm working on a 2nd bottle with a another top off. If that stuff does not do the trick I'll be driving her as she is until I can re-up the cash to take her to the shop to have the tank dropped and new fuel pump installed.
