Default fuel injector voltage?

97 Chev 5.7 vortec. How may volts should I have at the injectors?

i would say no lease then 12 volts

should be battery voltage with the key on, and a flashing ground when it runs
DO NOT TEST WITH A TEST LIGHT!!!!!!!
you can fry the ECM

Nope, wouldn't test with a light, seems I've heard that somewhere before. I would buy a noid for testing. I was just curious as to how many volts was spose to be there. I'm getting to the point where I think my ECM may be toast anyways.

DNK if this pertains to your injectors or not, but the newer Haynes manual (99 thru 05) says to use a stethoscope(a long-bladed screwdriver as a substitute) to listen for clicking at each injector.

Step one says check all electrical connectors for tight connections and bad grounds.
