fuel neck vent hose???

fuel neck vent hose???
The rubber vent hose coming from the fuel filler neck by the gas cap is hanging down on the rear of my 1500 Silverado and I cannot figure out where it is disconnected from. Anyone Know where it should connect? Thanks
