Default Fuel pump Problems

I have a problem with my fuel pump in my 2001 Silverado, truck is a 4.3, will a fuel pump from a 2005 5 litre silverado fit my truck?

There wasn't a 5.0 in 2005. If you mean the 5.3, the answer is no.

had the same problem in my 2000 silverado 4.3. the newer one wont fit. just buy a new one. usually around $200.

when it came time to replace my fuel pump in my 6.0 i went to rockauto.com and bought the pump and not the whole assembly when i pulled it out of the tank put the new pump in the assembly and dropped back in the tank works fine and fixed my problem just make sure you put the hoses back on tight mine poped off in the middle of the road and had to re do it all over but works great now price for the pump 60$ the assmebly i think was 150-250$
