Default Gasoline gauge

I have a problem my truck is a 2000 Silverado , and when i turn it on the gauges the gasoline gauge takes like 20 minutes to update what might be the problem????<O</O

Maybe the sending unit. I'm not sure about your model, but usually they are with the fuel pump in the tank. You'd have to drop the tank or remove the bed for access.

Due to the cost, most just wait until the pump goes out and replace it then.
