gear ratio tires recalibration
hi, i'm new and have a question.
I OWN A 2008 silverado 1500 z-71 4x4 5.3 engine 3.42 gear ratio.
6" lift 35" tires.
If i change to 4.56 ratio, i hear it will bring everything back to stock.
is this true?????
if it is, then it goes to figure that i won't need a recalibration right?
just keep the stock tune on the computer?

4.56 gears
I just had 4.56 gears done in my 2007 new body style and the speedo was way off.....I also have 35" tire and the improvement in power was great! I emailed diablosport and told them about my swap and they hooked me up with a custom tune for free. My only problem with the tune is that it is still off by 5+mph and there is no way to adjust the parameters. Good luck with the swap, you will love it!!!
