On this im just looking for some general quick advice. If everything goes well tomorrow I will be buying an 06 Chevy 2500HD Duramax w/ Allison Transmission. It has a 4" Ranchero Suspension lift with 35" tires. One websites specs were that it came stock w/ 360 horsepower and 650 lbs-ft of torque. I plan on getting the truck up to about 1000 horsepower w/ whatever torque I can have w/out rippin the thing apart. Im new to upgrades like this so If anyone has any advice as to what I can do to this truck it would be greatly appreciated. I know these trucks have great potential for upgrades. I'll be posting pictures soon.

The first things I plan on doing will be an air intake and exhaust upgrade. I think I will be using a K&N unless anyone knows of one better for the intake and the exhaust I want to be able to handle all the future upgrades I plan on doing to get to my benchmark. What do you have in mind for exhaust starting w/ headers that can handle these upgrades? All input is greatly appreciated. Thanks
