The other day I heard some noise from the rear of my 96 Silverado and when investigating, found that the shock braket was rotted off. Called the local dealer and was told that GM has discontinued this item. They could not find one anywhere in Canada for the right side, 2 wheel drive. Does anyone know where I could purchase one of these? Are they being produced in the aftermarket yet? I can not understand why GM would do this. Thanks.
