Default gmc

i have a 2009 gmc sierra 4.8l 1500 2wd pick up how can i enhance the performance of it it has 9,642 miles on it, with an automatic transmission with traction control and tow pack? plz help me

Well the sky is the limit, it depends on how much money you wanna spend.
you can start by getting a cold air intake, I like volant and airaid.

you can get a big bore kit and bore it out to make it a 5.2-5.6 liter.

you can put throttle body spacers in.

You could upgrade the throttle bodies (not sure how big the stock ones are)

you can install 11:1 high compression pistons with adjustable cam sprockets
to take full advantage of the additional compression created,
but you will have to use supreme gas from then on.

you could install a turbocharger for a very nice power boost, and it will also help
you get better gas mileage whilst cruising too.

put a k&n drop-in filter in it...airaid jr MIT tube, open the exhaust up on it and take the stock muffler off, longtube headers, get a cam installed and then get a custom tune to tie it all together.

throttle body spacers won't do anything but give a good whistle, throttle bodys themselves flow enough for the truck up till 500 HP or so I believe and if you want you can do the big bore kit and the turbo but with what I gave y
