Good deal on my trans rebuild?
Anyone else think this is a good deal I got on my trans getting rebuilt? I have a 2002 Silverado 1500 Z71 and recently lost 2nd gear...
This is parts AND labor TOTAL! - $960
Raybestos steel clutches and the rest of the rebuild goodies & torque convertor. w/ labor for $825
Shift Kit NO LABOR charge -$35
External Trans cooler w/ labor- $100
by an ASE Certified and AAMCO certified tech. w/ a 3 day turn around! w/ 12 months 12000 mile warrenty.

If I had the $2500 + to spend on an Alli trans, I would trust me -pretty much indestructable-.
But w/ the little money I had to spend on this, when it went out at probably the worst time on me...this will do.
