1996 c1500 5.7- My truck just started doing this hard starting thing.. Not like the starter is going bad (just replaced it), but when I turn the key it turns over for a couple seconds until it finally starts up. It doesn't ALWAYS happen, I'd say probably half of the time. Other than that it fires up just fine.
I've known of cars and trucks that just do this all the time and just live with it even though it's obviously not supposed to happen. Like I said- I just replaced the starter, along with the tps, fuel pump and filter, air filter, spark plugs and wires, and a few other small bits like that. I'm not really sure what to look at.
