I have a new 2010 Silverado HD with chrome hood louvers. They came with the truck as an option. They look good but always create a problem when the sun is at my back. They're like two mirrors reflecting the sun in my (and my passengers face). Thinking of getting them painted the same color of the truck. Just wanted to see if anybody else has this problem.

Came back from the desert yesterday and even the back seat passsenger was getting the glare. They're listed as a $300 option on the window sticker. The dealer said they'd replace them with standard black ones. No mention of a refund for the option though!
