Default header to exhaust pipe size

in the next week I'm orderin pacesetter longtubes, but I'm wonderin if the exhaust I have now will let the power flow out or not. I know the collector at the end is 3" and my exhaust is 2.25" so will I see good power out of it or will it choke it down?

Default Headers

I put on a pair of the new Edlebrock Shorty Headers. It is a 3" from header so i ran that with a y pipe to one to a single super 10 flowmaster mufffler which then dumps out on the passenger side before the rear axle. Sounds LOUD even at idle and there is no bog down. But i also changed the shift points with the Hypertech Programmer.
