Default Header Questions

I am about to install a newexhaust system including:

Flowtech Long-Neck headers
Dual Exhaust with MagnaFlow Or FlowMaster Mufflers
high flow Cats
straight back pipes with tips.

I was told the best way to fix the leakage problem with headers would be to cut off the flanges and just weld everything together. Is that the best thing to do?

Also, Should I go with FlowMaster mufflers or do MagnaFlow muffler make that much of a difference in performance?

Magnaflow and Flowmaster reflect pretty much the same performance gains.I wouldn't cut the flanges off the headers. If you ever had to change the headers, you would have to cut, cut, and re-weld.
