Heater trouble
I got a 08 chevy vmax awhile back and the heater has quit working on the driver side the passenger side works great I read that the blender door might be stuck so I pulled the motor off and the door moves freely and the motor moves when you first start the truck but after that it don't matter how hot or how cold you set it it don't move after that does anybody have any ideas that would help
[QUOTE=tech2;262276]was the engine coolant at operating temp? The heat comes from the coolant so if its not up to temp, yeah, it would be like luke warm
Was it the same temp from both sides when you tested the blend door?[/
Yes the truck was at temp. And the passenger side was hot and the driver was just luke warm at best

sounds like the correct one...bottom face of the hvac box near where the passenger left foot would rest.
auto or manual hvac?
gotta be a problem with the air mode doors, actuators or ducts. how can it be anything else?
